| Commercial Officer Program: Introduction |

UBL's Commercial Officer Program provides a platform to induct high-quality human resources for employment at the branch banking level after extensive training.
Prospective candidates should be smart, motivated, and hardworking individuals who will be expected to contribute significantly once they finish their training. They will be guided to focus towards process improvements and energizing the workplace with their enthusiasm for the business. Despite their limited experience they will be greased with not only their training, but will supply expertise of their own, such as familiarity with the latest technologies and out of the box thinking. Their training will enable them to provide a fresh perspective of general practices and compliance being followed in the light of the set guidelines.
The Commercial Officers will be inducted after a screening process consisting of a written test and panel interview, clearing which they will be taken on board to undergo two-month training. Following completion of their training, the Commercial officers will be places in various areas of the network. |

| Program Significance |
| The challenge of the Commercial Officer Program is to foster the development of superior practical, organizational, and interpersonal skills through intense training that will be invaluable for the officers throughout in career in UBL. These officers will prove to be the key to developing a pool of high-quality future supervisors to choose from. Individuals from the Commercial Officers Program will serve as advocates of UBL within the organization; reinforcing the organizations commitment towards investment in it employees. |

| Training |
| The general layout of the program comprises of initial two months of classroom style technical training Areas covered in this will include, among others, General Banking, Treasury, Risk Management, Cash Management, and Credit. Furthermore, specialized soft skill training as well as refresher sessions will also be a significant part of the Commercial Officer Program. |

| Eligibility Criteria |
|
| Individuals possessing strong academic credentials, outstanding character, and a high degree of motivation will be selected into the Commercial Officer Program. In order to be considered, individuals must meet the following criteria: |

Qualification: The applicants should have a Bachelors degree HEC recognized institution with either 60% marks or a CGPA of over 2.7. |
|
Work Experience: Work experience of no more than 2 years is required. Individuals with non-banking work experience will be regarded as a fresh candidate. |
